Going Gaga for fashion in Kathmandu

Nepalese fashionistas are intoxicated with  Phrases like "I love FASHION TV" & " FASHION IS MY PASSION".Every one tunes Fashion TV all day long while going gaga in latest fashion trends.

Fashion hub kupondole owns more than 50 boutiques and so many of fashion stores which are welcoming international fashion trends.

Ready to wear concept has heavily encroached the fashion store as well as boutiques in kathmandu which has confused several fashionistas.Boutique is there for their different and versatile piece of creation but big question mark has made a bang on the image of boutiques in Kathmandu because of so-called ready to wear concept.

Rajesh Dhakhwa, owner of RD chhahat boutique at Durbarmarg opines " We are influenced by ready to wear concept because of rushing business personalities who are conscious about fashion." That's why we are importing the clothing items from abroad countries like Thailand,Hongkong,Indonesia, malaisia, singapore, china,India etc.

Nepal Fashion Week
Kushma shrestha, faculty member of fashion designing at Namuna college of fashion technology said quality is degrading with the inexperienced boutique owners and designers. She added at least they need to gain 5/6 years of experience before opening their own boutique.

Sangit shrestha, owner and designer of Aakarshan boutique at Kupondole requested fashionistas to be conscious about quality while going gaga for fashion. Most of the boutiques are pretending as if they have created all dummy pieces/show pieces;in fact they are imported from some other places. Thus they are being cheated. But there isn't any authority to check this sorts of cheating in the name of fashion.

Here,I'm not stating to prove all the boutiques are cheating. Some of boutiques are very nice with their own creations in your home town but it's your turn to check them.

So,here I'm saying " check the quality before going gaga otherwise you would be next victim"
