Media Coverage on the demise of GPK
A towering figure of Nepalese politics Girija Prashad Koirala, better known as GP Koirala or GPK,breathed his last on saturday,march20 at 12:10 PM.
Octagenerian Koirala(86) was living with his daughter Sujata Koirala at mandikhatar after being discharged from Sahid Gangalal Hospital on wednesday with the improvement in health.
Five-time prime minister who had fought for democracy more than 6(six) decades,had fallen unconscious for over 12 hours on Saturday. Koirala was suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease .
Nepalese Media houses had expressed their condolence as well as concerns towards the demise of Nepalese political hero Girija Babu. They have covered the incident in their own way and style. And international media houses had also expressed their attention in the Nepalese political sky.
